Slip & Slide

Today I went to a girl's luncheon at my friend Jullian's house.

After we ate, we went outside so the kids could play on a slip & slide.

Sundance

Last week Adam and I left the kids with some friends and spent the day in the mountains at Sundance. We took the ski lift to the top of the mountain; it was beautiful! The couple that took our picture said, "You two must be on your honeymoon, right?" Nope. It's been almost six years since the honeymoon; hard to believe!

Utah County Fair

Don't you love Ethan's cheesey grin? It's what he does anytime someone tells him to smile for a picture.

The Utah County Fair came to town a couple weeks ago and we went, along with my parents (who now live nearby us in Utah, yay!), Ryan, Eric, Kristin, and Jake. Grandma and Grandpa Izant took Ethan on tons of rides, which he LOVED.

Some Cute Pictures of the Boys

I haven't been keeping up with this blog very well, for a number of reasons.

  1. Ethan and Austin keep me so busy when they are awake, and Ethan has been trying to give up his naps, which gives me much less time to do things like blog

  2. We still have dial-up internet and a very slow computer, which makes uploading pictures a pain. Yes, dial-up still exists. Don't worry, we're getting a new computer soon and will also get rid of stupid dial-up.

I will try to do better from now on. Here are a few cute pictures of the boys that I wanted to share, but they don't really fit with any other posting.

Big 3 year old

Ethan turned 3 on July 19th. We celebrated it at good ol' Chuck E. Cheese's. I don't think I'd been there since I had my birthday party there when I turned 8, and I think it was called Showbiz Pizza back then. Well, it hasn't changed much, but it was a lot of fun. We just invited our families to the party; none of Ethan's little neighborhood buddies this year. Ethan loved meeting Chuck E. himself; Ethan kept following him around hugging him and giving him 5. After being there over 3 hours, we finally had to drag him out of there.

4th of July

I celebrated the 4th husbandless this year; Adam had flown to Georgia to help my parents move out here to Utah. So while he was driving a huge moving truck across the country, me and the boys celebrated at home by having Eric, Lara, Ryan, Kristin, and Jake over for a BBQ and fireworks.
