Graduation!

I can't believe it, Ethan graduated from preschool today! He had such a fun year and loved his teacher and the kids in his class. For his graduation, the kids sang a few songs and then there was a slide show and they got their diplomas. Ethan had a big group there to watch him: his mom, dad, Austin, Grandma Sue, Papa Dave, and Grandma Karon.

It's a...

GIRL!!

I'm 16 weeks, so my official ultrasound at the doctor's office isn't for 3 more weeks. But Adam has been begging me to go to "Fetal Studios" at the mall to find out earlier. My thought was, well of course I want to know, but we can wait 3 weeks right?? But Adam insisted, so I finally gave in. We never thought we'd get a girl since we already have 2 boys and Adam comes from a family of 4 boys, but we are so excited to get to experience a little girl.

Aunt Kristin and the boys

When my sister was over the other night, I took some cute pictures of her playing with my boys in the front yard. Ethan and Austin WORSHIP Kristin. They talk about her all the time and when she shows up at our house, they could care less about me or anyone else. She plays with them nonstop the entire time she's at my house, every time she's at my house. No wonder they love her so much.

The boys wanted to try on her sunglasses, they both looked so funny and cute in them

Itty Bitty Baseball

Ethan played Itty Bitty Baseball at the rec center this past month. He's done soccer and football there over the past year, but baseball was by far his favorite. Sadly, this is the last of the "Itty Bitty" sports he will get to play because he'll turn 5 when the next one comes around. I guess it'll be time for Junior Jazz and t-ball!

DC

Adam took a trip with his brother, Jason, last weekend to our nation's capital, Washington DC. They did SO MUCH in the few short days they were there. Here's a list of just SOME of the things they did: Pentagon tour, White House tour, US Capital tour, National Archives, Supreme Court tour, Orioles baseball game, Mount Vernon tour, several Smithsonian museums, and more.
Here are a few of the many pictures he took...

First Fieldtrip

I got to go with Ethan's preschool class on a fieldtrip to a local museum. Since the museum was down the street from his school, we walked there. When we were done there, we walked to a local park and had popsicles. Then we went back to the class for singing time, which was hilarious to watch.

NYC

I took a girls trip to NYC this past weekend. I went with my sister and my mom and we met up with my sister's roommate, Krista and her mom, some of her aunts, and cousins.
We were there for 4 days and had so much fun. We did a little of everything: Times Square, shopping on Canal Street, China Town, Battery Park and Statue of Liberty, Rockefeller Center, Central Park, Museum of Natural History, saw Wicked, and of course lots of eating. We walked SO much and were exhausted and sore by the end of each day. Unfortunately, it rained a lot, but we still were able to see a lot. And of course, I need to give a big thank you to Adam for taking some time off work to stay home with Ethan and Austin while I was off in New York, and a big thank you to Adam's parents for taking the kids for a couple days.

We saw Wicked! It was awesome! And if my stomach looks a little big in these pictures, for those of you who don't know, I'm pregnant (15 weeks!)!

On our last day it rained a lot. We took the subway down to Battery Park in hopes that maybe the rain would clear up and we'd be able to see the Statue of Liberty. But as you can tell from this picture, you can BARELY see it (it's to the right of me in the picture)

Snow?? Really??

Utah always had unpredictable springs, but when we woke up to 6 inches of snow this morning, I was ready to pack up and move! It made me miss growing up in Georgia where in snows maybe 1 or 2 times a year, and in the spring, it's warm and our Azalea bushes would already be blooming by now. But the boys were delighted to see snow again, so we headed out for some fun. I pulled the boys all over the backyard on the sled. We also had a snowball fight and built a little snowman and built some ramps to take the sled on. Austin didn't last long. He refuses to wear gloves, or even a hat. Plus, he will not walk in the snow, he has to either be held or be sitting on the sled. So he went inside and ate goldfish crackers while Ethan and I played some more. It was fun, but I sure hope it's the last snow of the season.

Here's my tulips trying to bloom, only to be covered in a layer of snow.
