This past week has been a long one! Adam got hernia surgery last Wednesday and had 2 hernias repaired (this was his 4th surgery since we've been married, 3 of them being hernia surgeries!). It was same-day surgery and it went well, but the anesthesia really did a number on him and it took him a long time to completely wake up. He spent the next 5 days drugged up and passed out on our couch. But luckily he is feeling better and went back to work Monday.
The boys had pictures taken Thursday by a lady named Mindy Young. She does amazing pictures. We did them outside and it was windy and cold, so Ethan REFUSED to smile for hardly any of them. And as soon as we finished and got in the car he started crying and telling me how badly his stomach hurt, so that didn't help the smiling either. She's still editing them, but I've included a few that she's posted on her blog already. I'll put more up when she gives them to me.
My dad's 60th birthday was last week, so we went out to dinner at PF Changs Friday night to celebrate. It was delicious. My dad still looks and acts like he's 40 in my opinion.
And Sunday Mr. Mac got us tickets to General Conference. We were on the sixth row, so it was amazing to be soo close! Thanks so much to Eric and my mom for helping us out with the kids that morning.

I LOVE the one of the two of them together! I can't wait to get a copy. Those turned out really good!!! Easter pictures soon??
Wow, you have been really busy lately. That's why I haven't see you in a while. The boys look so cute, as always. Maybe we will see you tonight for date night.
Ok..those are the cutest pictures ever! Your boys are gorgeous! So sad fo Adam, my husband has had major back pain for years with the same problems, but no surgery yet. This last conference was really amazing, how lucky you got to go!
I feel for you on everything. Having husbands go through surgery is not good. Craig has had some crazy surgeries as well. It's like taking care of 3 kids after you get back home.
Pictures are not fun either when you have tired or whinny or stubborn for not smiling kids. But the PICS turned out SUPER cute even wihtout the smiling. Totally kandid!! Cute...
Kristin told me how cute these were, so I had to check them out! They are adorable!
Ok, I know I've already left a message but seriously, these pix should be in a magazine! I had to show my husband and he agrees!
Jen!! those pictures turned out darling. I need this lady's number so I can have her do some of Dax. I bet conference was AWESOME! I am soo jealous!
