Two days ago I went with one of my friends from college, Andi, and her to boys to Discovery Gardens at Thanksgiving Point. Our kids were having a great time playing in the splash pool. Austin kept walking to me where I sat on the grass over to the water to splash around, and then back to me, over and over. One of the times, as he stepped out of the water, he slipped on the pavement and turned his ankle completely sideways and fell. The poor boy cried and cried. When we got home he couldn't put any weight on it. So Adam came home from work and we took Austin to an after hours urgent care to get x-rays. Sure enough, a very small break. They gave him a temporary splint wrapped in an ace bandage, and Monday we'll go see an orthopedic specialist to get a walking cast. So for about four days, Austin can't walk at all, even though he wants to so bad. I have to carry him everywhere. It's going to be a long weekend! Poor little guy.

Wow...he broke his leg and he still looks like the cutest baby in the world...and he's still smiling! Thanks for visiting me today...that made me really happy :)!!!
That little cast breaks my heart.. but is also pretty cute. That cast is so tiny! Hope he gets well soon!
Oh no! I hate seeing little kids in casts! I hope he makes a quick recovery.
Oh..poor baby. Seriously cute though! I hope he heals quickly and that you don't need a back brace when the weekends over!
